Our Tees — Fabric, Fit & Process

Every MNDFRME tee starts with the same blank: the Gildan 5000. Here's why, and what that means for you.

The Blank: Gildan 5000

We use the Gildan 5000 for one reason — it's a proven heavyweight blank that doesn't compromise. 180gsm, 100% ring-spun cotton. Ring-spun means the cotton fibres are twisted tightly before weaving, which produces a denser, smoother fabric that holds its shape better than open-end cotton and softens with each wash rather than pilling or roughening.

180gsm is the sweet spot for a graphic tee: heavy enough to drape well and maintain structure, light enough to be wearable year-round. It's the weight you feel when you pick up a quality tee.

The Fit: Oversized, Unisex

All MNDFRME tees are cut oversized and unisex. The sleeve drops past the shoulder. The body has room. This isn't accidental — it's how the graphics were designed to be worn. The typography needs space to read as a statement, not a label.

The Print

Graphics are printed using direct-to-garment (DTG) printing on pre-treated blanks. DTG produces sharp, high-resolution prints with soft hand feel — you feel the fabric, not a plastic layer of ink. The result is a print that integrates with the fabric rather than sitting on top of it.

Each print is cured at heat to lock the ink into the fibres. With proper care, the print maintains its quality through hundreds of washes.

Care Instructions

To get the most life out of your MNDFRME tee:

  • Machine wash cold, inside out
  • Tumble dry on low heat
  • Do not iron directly on the print
  • Avoid bleach and fabric softeners on the print area

Washing inside out protects both the print and the outer fabric from friction. Cold water prevents shrinking and preserves colour. Low heat drying keeps the fit stable.

Sizing

Sizes run S through 3XL. The Gildan 5000 runs slightly large — that's intentional for our cuts. See our Size Guide for chest, length, and sleeve measurements by size.
